JOB SUMMARY

Daniels Tire Service is looking to add several team members to our Retread Plant. This is an assembly line, production driven work process in Tire retread plant. We're looking to add team members who work well with their hands, and are looking to work as part of a team.. We are willing to train dedicated workers.

ESSENTIAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Organize work area, insuring easy ergonomic movement to complete the installation of the tread on a tire casing.

Remove tire casing from the monorail with tire lift and put it on builder machine

Set up the correct tread design near the machine for easy access. Apply tread from roll as tire rotates.

When the machine stops automatically, cut with rotary tread knife. Put the 2 ends together and staple. Put automatic stitcher down to push out air.

Remove treaded casing from the machine, placing on j-hook and onto the overhead rail with hoist.

Take the next casing off the overhead rail and repeat the tread installation process.

Take care not to contaminate the tread base area.

Keep work area clear of wrappings, loose staples, and too many packages of tread.

List any safety hazards observed and point them out to the Plant ManagerNONESSENTIAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assists with any other duties that may be assigned.

Maintain the shop area, with the help of shop employees, in a clean and organized condition.

eliminate, when possible, any safety hazards discovered in daily walk around the store

be a reliable, and dedicated worker that can be depended on.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

=Experience: 1 year or tire service or tire retread experience is nice but Experience not required.

=MUST HAVE - eligibility to work in the United States, we participate in the E-VERIFY. program

=California Drivers License, Class C - nice to have, not required

Good Judgement: Knows when to stand tough and when to be flexible. Sees the big picture and the ramnifications of ones actions.

Self Motivated: Gets the job done with a minimum of supervision. Collaborates with others to address issues that arise.

Strong work ethic: Can handle what comes up;finds the answers and makes sure the situation is taken care of correctly. Avoids time wasters.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
