Summary: Serves as a liaison between the Information Security Office and various department executives.

Responsible for initiating data governance program(s), training stakeholders, and executive reporting.

Sets up and adheres to the data governance framework, creating visual process flows and documents policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in information systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience/training.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio's Driver's License.

Experience: Two to three years of combined experience in Information Technology, Information Security or Data Governance, with specific experience in: Metadata Management, Data Literacy, Data Quality Management, Agile methodology, Microsoft Azure and SQL server experience.

Essential Functions: A: Job Specific: Analyze, assess and document business requirements in an unambiguous and clear manner to support the business.

Identify controls, or opportunities, based on technical frameworks (i.e., ISO, NIST, etc.) Catalogue, test and monitor controls.

Create and perform gap analysis as well as provide strategy to implement and mitigate identified risks.

Define business architecture and functional design.

Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.

Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Conduct functional walk-throughs with various stakeholders.

Analyze system impacts to other systems and procedures.

Participate in training personnel on enhancements, and new systems or procedures.

Creating executive reporting and strategy documents.

Functions as an enterprise data governance subject matter expert Effectivity communicates the importance of data and analytics governance, stewardship, and literacy Helps the organization establish common stewardship practices, policies, and metrics to manage data and analytics consistently across the enterprise Supports program adoption and effectiveness across the enterprise, aiding with program metrics and monitoring, program scoping and resource requirements, communication, collaboration, and ideation on improving program efforts Contributes to the rollout of a Data Literacy Program throughout the enterprise Enables the expansion of data stewardship throughout the enterprise Works with business users to understand and elicit business requirements and capture business needs for data use, analysis, and quality Provides user training, education, and documentation to support adoption of consistent governance best practices Partners with business units to assist with the adoption of an enterprise data catalog and business glossary Engage with business partners and teammates on decisions and roadmaps Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands Helps the organization enable technology to automate governance practices Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communications at both business and deep technical levels.

Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles.

Strong understanding of and experience with process improvement and process mapping.

Strong understanding and experience with creating complex process flows with control points via Visio Pro.

Identifying and testing controls.

Strong understanding of ISO, NIST, FFIEC and other control frameworks.

Strong understanding and experience of enterprise risk management.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of the business area that is being supported.

Project Management skills.

Understanding of FinTech industry.

Fluent in Data Governance practices.

Ability to clearly define and communicate user requirements with experience in converting business/techno-functional requirements to use cases and/or user stories with acceptance criteria.
