Maintenance Technician
Performs work in the areas of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Must have excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Completes routine service requests to assure the highest quality customer service satisfaction. Return completed work order slips, noting supplies and materials used, time to complete the call, and the date of completion.
Completes on-call emergency service requests, according to the established emergency list.
The on-call sequence is determined by individual property. Must know the location of emergency system controls
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician
Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing
Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment and small hand tools
Working knowledge of tools and devices
Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsMust have a valid drivers license with under 3 points and 2 accidents.
