Job Title: Licensed Online Clinician/Therapist/Counselor/Social Worker/Psychologist

Job Type: Contract

Hours: Flexible; Requesting 25 patient contacts/week

Location: Fully Remote

Position Summary: Provide virtual outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at Wellness Beyond the Chair (WBTC).

Wellness Beyond the Chair professionals provide services that intentionally focus on helping clients improve their mental health symptoms, engage in healthy interpersonal relationships.

We specialize in curating a safe space for clients experiencing psychological concerns as a result of trauma (PTSD), mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar), and chronic pain/illness while also curating a safe space for clients navigating LGBTQIA concerns.

As we continue to grow and expand our mission at Wellness Beyond the Chair to provide comprehensive and empathetic mental health care, we are actively seeking passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join our innovative team. Responsibilities:

Client Assessment and Counseling:

Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their strengths, current stressors, needs and areas for growth

Develop personalized and collaborative treatment plans

Provide individual, family and/or group counseling sessions

Therapeutic Services:

Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address client concerns and mental health issues.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Client Engagement:

Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients to promote trust and effective communication

Serve as an advocate and accountability for clients

Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

Collaboration:

Consult and collaborate with other team members, including physicians, case managers, therapists, and support staff.

Communicate effectively with clients' families and external healthcare providers when necessary.

Ethical and Legal Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the field of mental health.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including client confidentiality.

Professional Development:

Strive to center your well-being and personal care so that you can show up and serve clients from a centered and grounded place

Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field

Pursue ongoing training and education to maintain licensure and improve clinical skills

Qualifications:

Have 1 year of experience and training in treating trauma (PTSD), mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar)

Be willing to nurture a safe space for clients navigating LGBTQIA concerns

Required to hold a valid and current Missouri (MO) state license as a (LPC, LMFT and LCSW, ect)

Has a strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and assessment tools.

Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Be committed to client-centered care and maintaining high ethical standards

Have the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
