Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to utilize various types of cutting equipment to manufacture wipes for the laundry or unlaundered finished goods.

Responsibilities:

Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.

Ability to read and understand drawings and travelers for production orders.

Ability to know and understand how to operate and trouble shoot laser equipment and counting scale.

Understanding and following proper safety procedures when using the lasers and hoist equipment.

Perform quality inspection/measurements for each shop order.

Gathering and loading of the necessary raw materials needed to complete the shop order.

Closing work orders and placing product in the correct area.

Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.

Participates and works within ISO 9001-2015 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.

Others may be assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); ; no prior experience required.
