Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Event Marketing intern to join our team.

The Event Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of SiteOne Event activities, including event communications and measurement.

Site One executes over 300 events annually, including customer events such as Branch Events, SiteOne University Training Events, Incentive Trips & Charity Events, plus meetings and events for SiteOne Associates.

The Event Marketing Intern will work closely with event planners, the internal creative team, and agencies to develop communication tactics that create awareness and drive registration at SiteOne events. This position will also support event planning activities such as attendee management and event logistics.

General

Actively participate in meetings with event managers and other key stakeholders to identify upcoming events and campaign strategies.

Partner with creative agencies to develop campaign platforms, key messaging, and media executions for major event types. Work with agencies to execute campaigns for individual events, including website, email, and social media.

Develop event registration websites using event registration software. (will train)

Develop and maintain event attendee registration lists and agendas.

Support event planning tasks such as rooming list, food and beverage, and audio-visual.

Support the development of event measurement dashboards.

Skills We Are Seeking::

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Basic understanding of marketing communication principles.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.

Experience planning events a plus.
