Information Technology Intern

Responsibilities:

Revolution is looking for an Information Technology (I.T.) Intern to join its team in the Summer of 2024.The internship is a 10-week paid program providing students with on-the-job training, mentoring, and real-world experience.

In this role, you will straddle the line between technology and business, providing a unique contribution to our team. You will engage directly with end users to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and develop applications that improve operations and decision-making capabilities. This position offers a rich experience in Microsoft's Power Platform, including PowerApps, Excel, and Power BI, allowing you to work on projects that directly influence our company's success.

Act as a liaison between the business units and the IT team, understanding and documenting business requirements.

Design, develop, and deploy applications using Microsoft PowerApps to meet end-user requirements.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, supporting the development and optimization of business applications.

Create insightful dashboards and reports with Power BI to aid in business decision-making.

Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Conduct testing and troubleshooting of applications, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.

Document development processes and create user guides for the developed applications.

Regularly update the team on project progress and outcomes through team meetings.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field with a strong interest in business processes.

Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps, Excel, and Power BI preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with business users to gather and interpret requirements.

Proactive learner, eager to absorb new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.

GPA: 3.0 cumulative and completing two years of college courses.

Previous Co-op experience is a plus.

Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis

Pay Transparency: Base Range $20.00/hour + Overtime
