Overview:

The Senior Analyst, IT Quality Assurance, is accountable for software testing of applications/product deliverables to CRx Clients and the operations team. They will work with program management, Business Analysts, Product Management, our development teams, and other Quality Assurance teams to ensure reporting aligns with specifications and is complete and accurate based on client and product deliverables. They will create testing strategies for key projects, working with client vendors to set expectations for joining testing. The Senior Analyst, IT Quality Assurance ensures analysis and testing will be done throughout the Systems Development Lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Design and execution of functional test strategies for high-quality product releases.

Analyzes new feature impacts and risks for release, reviews the test strategy, and plans to certify product quality.

Develops/creates Test Plans / Business Use Cases for Testing.

Executes test use cases and reports bugs using collaboration tools.

Triages and drives bug resolution with appropriate teams.

Ensures familiarity with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies.

Works closely with the development group to document and execute regression, functional, and integration tests.

Works with other QA team members, engineers, and developers to identify, document, resolve, and add test coverage to existing defects.

Actively participates in the ongoing effort to automate our regression and functionality testing fully.

Tests existing system processes and provides recommendations for improvements.

Meets with key stakeholders to determine business system needs and requirements.

Conducts and reports on technical and business analyses.

Assesses new software for compatibility with current systems.

Ensures product quality throughout the development process.

Oversees the work of junior QA Analysts and manages QA projects, as required.

Applies risk analysis methodologies and tools that align with a project's development approach.

Prioritizes testing tasks and ensures milestones, activities, and tasks are completed as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

Familiar with test automation tools: UFT/Selenium

Familiar with postman test/ soap UI/ UI portals/DB testing

Automation knowledge is preferred.

Advanced understanding of SDLC/Agile Methodologies

Strong knowledge of Test automation Methodologies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals

Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the process of software development life cycle

Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine security risks to data, hardware, and software

Mastery in analyzing business, technical, and functional needs and requirements

Strong attention to detail to identify, record, and prioritize issues as they arise

Solid report writing skills and command of written communication

Troubleshooting and creative thinking to present viable solutions as problems arise
