Tri Pointe Assurance, the Title/Escrow affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group.

Position Highlights: The Title Assistant is responsible for both the electronic document recordation of closed files and title policy preparation (candidate will be trained on policies), distribution, remittance, and quality control of delivering final title policies. This position is the point of contact for buyers and lenders requesting post-closing policy documentation. The Title Assistant maintains workflows and reports while working closely with escrow to ensure documents are properly e-recorded. This position will be work nationally across multiple states supporting both title and escrow.

Position Responsibilities:

Respond to communication and requests from team members, lenders, and buyers.

Create and issue Owner and Lender Title Policies and supplemental endorsements as needed.

Analyze and interpret closing instructions and final documents, while following government regulations and underwriter guidelines to issue a title policy.

Maintain knowledge of and follow the rules and procedures of title support in multiple states.

Record and upload copies of final documents across multiple counties and states.

Maintain a balance of production and quality.

Monitor and maintain multiple reports and work ques.

Accurate data entry.

Prepare and coordinate documents to be mailed.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in high volume production under timeline requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

A minimum of 1-2 years of policy experience is required.

Knowledge of e-recording technologies is a plus.

Comprehensive knowledge of title industry documents, procedures, and concepts is required.

Must have experience with Microsoft Office and title software applications.

Capable to work independently, abstracting, and analyzing data in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail, coupled with organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Ability to be flexible and able to shift direction quickly
