About this Role:

R. R. Cassidy, a rapidly growing Quanta Services company that specializes in deep foundation drilling, driven pipe pile, and caisson work in the electric power industry is looking for a Field Safety Representative. The candidate should have related experience to support the safety of a heavy construction company. This full-time, permanent position is based in Prairieville, Louisiana, but required to travel on a 10/4 rotation.

What You'll Do:

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct Job Safety Analysis as required

Conduct job audits

Take inventory of safety equipment on jobsite

Inspect rigging, SRL’s, harnesses, and any other safety equipment used on the jobsite.

Assist or give hands-on training at jobsite

Assist or give yearly training on various safety topics

Lead crew safety meetings

Maintain records required for jobsite, safety data, and inventory

What You'll Bring:

Skills and Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of field safety experience required

OSHA 30 and COSS or other professional safety certification from an industry recognized safety organization required

Certifications in administration of First Aid, CPR, and AED training preferred

Knowledge of first-aid, safety rules, line materials, tools, and their use

Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Able to work outside during all weather conditions and terrain on a regular and on-call basis, in a safe and productive manner.
