Land Coordinator Summary:

Primary role will be to support Land Acquisitions and Development personnel in the development and maintenance of the Land Development Budgets.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the land development management team on land department budget matters.

Assist with Land Acquisition Budget preparation and set up for quarterly review.

Track land proposal and bid comparison analytics to budget.

Research and document actual budget variance to Green Folder approvals.

Oversee quarterly Land Development budget meetings.

Meet with Land field personnel weekly, review scope changes and proposed change orders.

Keep electronic budgets updated with contracts, POs, invoices etc.

Organize and file all Electronic land department budget paperwork including invoices and proposals.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Two (2) year of experience in bookkeeping/accounting supporting land acquisition, land development and/or homebuilding is preferre

High School Diploma or GED required

Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required

Valid Auto Insurance Coverage required

Strong initiative and desire to independently learn required

Must possess organization skills by keeping daily schedules current, maintaining a timely and accurate flow of paperwork

Possess good time management and interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations

Computer expertise, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, walk, move and/or carry equipment in excess of 20 pounds. Must have finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and calculator.
