Job Title: Facilities Manager
Reports To: Sr. Pastor and works with the Trustee Board

Principle Function:
The Facilities Manager would oversee all aspects of the appearance, cleanliness, maintenance and security of the building and grounds for all facilities at Emmanuel Baptist Church and supervise all maintenance staff.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight of keeping all facilities clean, attractive, and well maintained at all times, inside and outside, including the church sanctuary, Family Life Center (FLC), hallways, kitchens, gymnasium, computer lab and education building.
Consult with the Sr. Pastor and the Trustee Board for large repairs and facility upgrades and present plan for those repairs
Contact, coordinate, and oversee work to be done by external vendors, including but not limited to, ensuring working is completed on time and within budget
Oversee maintenance staff and facilities attendants
Ensure facilities are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped on a weekly basis and carpets are shampooed as needed
Ensure facilities including kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned and ready for everyday use and special events
Act as facilities oversight liaison for FLC tenants, special events and staff
Open and/or close facilities based on scheduled working hours, including gates and doors
Perform minor repairs, including but not limited to, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, including immediate temporary repairs in emergencies
Oversee and/or set-up of rooms for special events
Ensure outside lighting is working properly and replace bulbs as needed
Ensure maintenance of grounds, including but not limited to, maintaining parking areas, garbage cans and walkways
Perform other tasks as needed
Requirements (knowledge, skills, abilities):
Must exemplify Christian character
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite
Must have a proven ability to work effectively with diverse individuals in the congregation, on the staff, in the ministries, and across the teams of volunteers and servant workers
Must have strong leadership ability
Must be self-motivated
Pay Range:
$55k – $60K annually
