Position Overview: As the Landscape In charge, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape design, maintenance, and plantation within the designated areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure the aesthetic appeal, functionality, and sustainability of the landscapes under your supervision. This role requires a strong background in landscape management, plant care, and project coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop landscape designs that align with project requirements and client expectations.

Create detailed landscape plans, including plant selection, layout, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards in all landscape design projects.

Oversee the execution of landscape projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality of workmanship.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Implement comprehensive plant care programs, including planting, pruning, fertilization, and pest control.

Supervise a team of landscapers and gardeners to maintain the cleanliness, health, and attractiveness of all landscaped areas.

Monitor irrigation systems to optimize water usage and prevent wastage.

Develop and implement sustainable landscaping practices, such as xeriscaping, composting, and native plant conservation.

Integrate eco-friendly solutions, such as rainwater harvesting and renewable energy sources, into landscape designs and maintenance routines.

Maintain accurate records of landscape inventory, including plant species, quantities, and maintenance schedules.

Prepare regular reports on landscape performance, including budget expenditures, resource utilization, and project milestones.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape management, preferably within the context of building projects.

Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant biology, and landscape design principles.

Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in landscape design software and other relevant tools.

Familiarity with local regulations and environmental standards governing landscape development and maintenance.
