Estimator (machining, metal fabrication, and welding)

Salary Range: $70k - $90k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Youngstown, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Estimator for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry REQUIREMENTS High School graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus) 2+ years' experience estimating for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry Calculate cost estimates for: labor (production time and man-hours required), material and time requirements related to proposals, blueprints, and engineering drawings Maintains current production labor rates and material cost data Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to maintain relationships with suppliers Ability to interpret customer drawings and specs from a variety of industries to incorporate into a detailed quote Experience reading and interpreting blue prints, engineering drawings, mechanical drawings and GD&T interpretation Experience as a CNC Machinist and /or Welder/Fitter is preferred Knowledge with Job Quote Tool, Docuware, JobScope & JS Reports, & Quote Log preferred Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
