Machine Repair & Maintenance Technician - Firearms Parts Manufacturer

Job Description

Firearms parts manufacturer looking to hire a well-rounded, experienced machine repair and maintenance technician to perform repairs to CNC milling and turning equipment. Knowledge of Fanuc controls a plus, but not a requirement.

Candidate should have very strong problem-solving skills, mechanical troubleshooting, repair skills, and the ability to diagnose and locate electrical problems with wiring, harnesses, connectors, or failing electronic PCBs, motors, drives etc.

This employee will work on Swiss-style turning machines, 3 and 5-axis vertical machining centers, 4-axis lathes, and various other equipment. Manufacturers include Citizen Swiss, Takisawa, Okuma, Brother, HAAS, DMG Mori, Mazak, etc.

Candidate will assist coordinating with production for scheduled down time and preventative maintenance items as well as performing facilities maintenance duties such as fluids, scrap disposal, general labor repair and maintenance.

We are seeking candidates for Weekend 1st shift (Friday-Sunday)

THE WEEKEND DAY SHIFT WORKS 36 HOURS PER WEEK AND IS PAID FOR 40 HOURS. OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE ON OFF SHIFTS IF DESIRED.

Job Type: Full-time 40+ Hours Rate: $25-35/Hr. + Overtime Benefits: Medical, Dental, Optical, Short- and Long- Term Disability, and Life Insurance included
