Our Client is seeking a Dedicated Aide in the Washington, DC area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students in a classroom setting.

Dedicated Aide are assigned to students who regularly need assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in school. Aides assist students 1:1 or in group settings.

HOURS

* Mon- Fri Schedule available*

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S OPPORTUNITY

* Provide support and assistance to teachers by helping students with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment: ages 3-21 years old

* Work one on one with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment

* Provide students with goal-oriented support that fosters independence and the ability to display socially acceptable behaviors in the school environment.

* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency

* Compensated weekly

* Teacher Aide, Teacher Assistant, Paraprofessional, Personal Care Assistant, Special Education Aide, Special Education Assistant, One on One aide, Cafeteria Aide, Lunch Aide, Bus Aide

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

* Committed to working with a diverse student population

* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students

* Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED

* Experience working with students

* Great team player with solid time management skills or ability
