To provide comprehensive administrative support for the Transformation Office which would, in summary, include the following: * Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the AVP's behalf * Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records * Performing minor accounting duties * Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary Primary Function of Organizational Unit North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C.

It is the largest historically black college or university (HBCU) in the nation and its enrollment exceeds 13,800 students, approximately 1500 of whom are graduate students.

Work Hours 8 to 5 pm on Monday through Friday Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.

Hybrid (Employees are working part-time in the office to perform job tasks that require on-campus engagement, and the remaining time at home) Key Responsibilities and Related Competencies Required Competency Interpersonal Skills Duties Prioritizes and negotiates organizational needs regarding meetings, timeframes, and deadlines.

Exercises delegated authority to speak on behalf of the administrator regarding a variety of administrative and programmatic matters.

Required Competency Planning and Organizing Duties Uses judgment and independence to make changes to schedules and matters of the administrator.

Attends administrator's meetings to stay abreast of and prioritize issues.

Tracks and monitors pending issues for follow-up and independently develops agenda for future meetings.

Organizes and assimilates documents for agency/university boards, hearings, and/or commission meetings.

Required Competency Written Communication Duties Independently assimilates and composes materials and speeches for the administrator to use in a variety of settings (i.e.

publications, web site, etc.) Edit documents to incorporate the administrator's personal style.
