Job Description

This position is responsible for Handling all Operations department duties as well as all the shipping orders sent by order management.

MANAGEMENT

Manages, maintains and handles inquiries from customers; Coordinates with Operations Team to ensure high levels of productivity.

Primary contact for all customers, manages and handles all of shipping needs.

Handles administration of business practices to maximize efficiency within the organization.

Manages front office administration and supplies

SHIPPING & RECEIVING MANAGEMENT

Manages and maintains all the shipping related duties and ensures timely process.

Serves as a contact person for order management for all ordes and shipment issues.

Processes shipment in the software for the customer accounts of businesss units.

Routes prepaid and collect shipments, and enters all Collected orders in the website for routing; updates all routing guides to ensure the shipments schedules and requirements are up-to-date to prevent chargebacks

Resolves chargeback issues; reports irregular issues to the Warehouse Manager.

Monitors all duties handled by front office operations employees; reviews work orders and approves completed work and assigns work duties, etc.

Confirms amounts of cartons shipped, correct date of shipments, carrier information, tracks numbers of shipments, processes the detailed push/pull for all outside vendors and generates bills of lading.

Maintains order management for any new orders and/or shipment issues.

Coordinates and reports management for any shipping issues and/or corrections.

Generates loads from orders sent by Order management.

generates appointment, prints the loads for order pullers and makes copies for barcode lable preparation.

Coordinates with warehouse manager for all shipping needs

Controls all pick-up schedule by each carrier.

Assists carrier's representatives to generate new changes and discounts given to the carrier.

Prepares and maintains order processing reports.

Daily and monthly reporting

OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS

Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.

Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.

Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.

Maintains good communication with management, co-workers and outside vendors.

Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

High-School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Related experience 10+ years

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES

Driver's license, Forklift License, OSHA certified

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office/Warehouse

Moderate/High
