Expanding Midwest firm has a critical role for a talented Electrical Project Engineer to fill in their Milwaukee Office!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Electrical Systems projects:
Normal & Emergency Power Distribution Design
Coordinate all electrical power requirements and connection types for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Building Equipment
Coordinate with Local Utilities
Normal & Emergency Lighting Design and Photometric Calculations
Prepare One-Line Diagrams
Energy Code Compliant Design
Perform Available Fault Current (AIC) Calculations
Voltage Drop Calculations
NEC Demand Load Calculations
Low Voltage Systems projects:
Fire Alarm Systems
Voice/Data Communications Systems
Paging and Public Address Systems
A/V (Audio/Visual) Systems
Video Surveillance Systems
Responsible for drawing setup, design development of plans and specifications
Coordination projects with other disciplines
Perform calculations for all electrical loads
Create panel/equipment schedules
Provide construction support including (bid evaluation, submittal reviews, responding to RFI’s, final walkthroughs, punch lists and developing As-Built record drawings)
Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineer
5+ years of experience
PE License
Low Voltage Systems experience preferred
Thorough Understand of Current Codes and Standards: Wisconsin, Chicago, NEC, NFPA, IBC, IECC, ANSI 90.1
Evaluate Value Engineering/Estimating
Strong AutoCAD/Microsoft Office experience
Revit experience preferred
Proficient in Visual or AGI32 lighting software
Salary is commensurate with experience.
