Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for customers and factories trouble shooting problems in the field and providing factory start-ups and generally works independently. All aspects of providing technical support and problem solving for customers, factories and outside sales personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufactures to including but not limited to:

Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems

Provides control programming and testing in the field

Provides investigation and analysis in the field

Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems

Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

2-3 years’ experience on electrical or low voltage system

Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming

Basic understanding of electrical power systems

Understanding of basic Networking principles

Ability to read and understand building and control drawings

Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making

Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly

Must be able to travel extensively

Must possess a valid driver’s license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage

Must be proficient on word, excel, and outlook
