Job Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will independently manage and execute engineering assignments with precision and a dedication to quality. Apply traditional and emerging engineering practices to enhance design processes, team collaboration, and manufacturing operations. This position is crucial for conducting detailed engineering studies to improve our products, processes, and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead engineering support across departments including Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management.

Tooling and DFM/A Initiatives: Develop, strategize, and implement tooling processes and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly initiatives.

Quality Enhancement: Design, develop, assess, and improve test equipment and procedures to maintain and enhance product quality standards.

Documentation: Author comprehensive documentation related to products and processes.

Problem Solving: Solve complex problems related to product requirements, material use, process capabilities, and documentation.

Continuous Improvement: Provide leadership and technical expertise to project teams for quality improvement.

Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, junior staff, and suppliers to meet project objectives and timelines.

Innovation: Contribute to research and development efforts to innovate and enhance product offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

1-4 years of experience in industrial design or mechanical engineering, with a solid grasp of product materials and production processes.

Advanced proficiency in CAD software, particularly ProE/CreO, and familiarity with Finite Element Analysis.

Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (Visual).

Demonstrated ability in designing validation tests and report compilation.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
