Over 80 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations. Our team of 700+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.

The Role:

Medcan is recruiting for an experienced Valet to join our growing client services team for a 13-month contract. This role is responsible for providing our clients with exceptional client service and efficient and safe valet service. The role is best suited to individuals with great communication skills, high energy and attention to safety and detail.

The Accountabilities:

Park and retrieve valet vehicles for our clients

Pick up valet posting reports

Complete circle check of every vehicle at entry

Mark down any and all existing damage to vehicle on valet tag

Verify any damage to a vehicle before vehicle is moved from pull up location

Ensure guest is aware of any damage to vehicle before it is moved from pull up location

Record and manage keys for each parked vehicle

Fill out reports for moving vehicles in and out of the garage

Answer client questions and maintain reasonable knowledge of Medcan services

Assist clients with bags

Issue Valet Tickets

Report any damage to Clinic Operations

Provide back-up coverage to the Housekeeping, Concierge and Reception teams as needed

Monitor and facilitate the flow of clients

The work environment is an underground parking garage and includes some exposure to cold, vehicle exhausts, noise, dust, heat and odors.

The Requirements:

Valid Class G Drivers License with 5 years experience preferred

Clean driving and safety record required

Drivers abstract and background check required

Experience in driving standard and automatic vehicles

Experience in parking large vehicles

Hospitality experience and experience as a Valet is an asset

Excellent communication and client service skills

This is a contract role that offers 40 hours/week and reports to the Team Lead. Medcan is open Monday - Saturday between 6:30am-7:30pm. The incumbent must be available to work between Medcans business hours.
