Marketing Manager, Insurance Insider

This is a hybrid role, with two in-office days at our office in New York City

Insurance Insider is the leading provider of insights and analysis for the world's top insurers, distributors, service providers, and investors. Our marketing team is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans that contribute to reaching the company’s revenue goals.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns that directly result in subscription revenue growth, leveraging channels including website, email, social, and search. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual is required to be onsite at our New York City office two days per week. They will join a team of six other marketers located across the US and UK, and collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Editorial teams.

Responsibilities:

Own the organic social media strategy for the business to drive brand awareness and organic lead generation; promoting our products, services and content in a way that is consistent with our brand guidelines, developing new social media strategies and analyzing the performance and impact on subscriptions revenue

Lead marketing campaigns for our industry awards programs to generate submissions and support the overall success of the event as an extension of our brand; support cross-marketing initiatives that leverage awards to sell subscriptions

Develop go-to-market plans to introduce new products and features, driving awareness and engagement amongst current subscribers and across the market

Develop marketing and sales collateral (one-pagers, presentations, case studies, etc.) that effectively convey our unique value propositions; conduct ongoing training for the sales team to ensure proficiency and consistency with key messaging

Establish client feedback loops to keep abreast of client needs and pain points; communicate this feedback to the appropriate stakeholders and formulate action plans to address

Be an expert on our competitors and the marketplace overall, effectively leveraging market insights to differentiate our products and stay ahead of the competition

Support various brand needs associated with events or special projects, including conference dailies, hubs/landing pages, brand swag, client gifting, etc.

Present results, learnings, and recommendations to leadership team, demonstrating the impact of all activities on subscription revenue

Collaborate closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and editorial teams to work towards shared revenue goals

Support with product (website & email) updates and optimization

Skills/experience:

4+ years’ experience in a marketing role (B2B experience preferred)

Experience with B2B digital subscriptions and/or SaaS products

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfort with data/analytics and ability to report on marketing ROI based on revenue outcomes

Tech-savvy and quick-to-learn (or have prior knowledge on) how to operate platforms such as Awards Force, our CRM (Pardot/Salesforce), and CMS (Brightspot)

Creative skills are a plus, especially proficiency with Canva or other design tools to produce sales and marketing assets

The base salary range for this role is from $98,000.00 USD - $118,000.00 USD (salary to commensurate with experience). This position is also eligible for a variable bonus scheme administered at the sole discretion of the Company
