Process Improvement Manager

Our client is a liquid storage and logistics company in the League City, Texas area, and they are searching for an Operations Excellence Manager/Process Improvement Manager to join their team! The role is permanent, direct hire and they will pay a salary ranging from $120k - $164k per year plus a bonus, excellent 401-K and offers 9/80 work schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

Implement a standard Operating Mechanism, KPI’s and processes, based on Lean Principles

Identify operational/business performance gaps and/or action plans to close gaps.

Expert with project leaders and line management to execute projects successfully and on time

Implement a disciplined project review process.

Update operational procedures as part of the continuous improvement process.

the operator s competence qualification program according to Corporate and local agency requirements.

Assure compliance with best practices of metering and measurement and quality assurance.

Coach employees regarding Continuous Improvement including functional/line management.

Be Voice of Customer with measurable KPI’s used to monitor performance

Guide actions in organization in order to drive improvements and operational efficiencies.

Set Operational Excellence KPIs dashboard, improvement targets and conduct benchmarks.

Prepare, coordinate and execute internal Integrated Operations audits, process audits and process reviews to ensure strict adherence to process requirements and systems as per defined guidelines.

Education and Experience

degree in Chemical Engineering or similar

experience of 10+ years
