Automation Proposal Manager

Flowtec is in search of an exceptionally talented Proposal Engineer to assist in the consultation and design of solutions within the process systems and solutions proposal development department. This role involves leveraging industrial control systems and associated products.

Responsibilities:

Develop customer-oriented proposals for Industrial Control and Safety System solutions, utilizing internal quotation templates, tools, and workflow procedures

Collaborate with development and support teams to ensure ongoing awareness of product capabilities

Review project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals

Initiate consultative dialogues with customers, principals, and internal team members to explore best practices and solutions aimed at meeting expectations from both internal and customer viewpoints

Regularly assist sales personnel and product principals to fulfill their job functions effectively

Participate in mandatory skills and safety training sessions, including computer-based modules and both local and out-of-state factory training programs

Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineer preferred

Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects

Familiarity with contemporary Industrial Control and Safety systems, as well as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems

Knowledge of process control concepts, instrumentation, and electrical concepts
