Essential Responsibilities
Oversee technical or administrative projects critical to the organization's success at the site, ensuring timely completion.
Take a leadership role, fostering cooperation among management and staff from various departments to achieve project objectives.
Provide regular updates to the Executive Director, Donor Room Operations, regarding project statuses and milestones.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert on leukapheresis, leading SOP review and standardization efforts globally within the Cell Solutions organization.
Maintain accurate records, including clinical research records, blood product collection forms, and apheresis collection records.
Operate under the medical supervision of the site's Medical Director concerning donor eligibility, qualification, and safety during apheresis procedures.
Serve as a liaison between device manufacturers and internal operations, ensuring proper scheduling and completion of Preventative Maintenance (PM) work.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring department goals and objectives to promote cost-effectiveness and exceptional customer service.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Minimum 5 years of nursing supervisor level experience, with apheresis experience preferred
Preferred RN with experience leading an apheresis operation or blood donor center
Prior experience in research environment a plus
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or Good Clinical Practices (GCP) is desirable
