Bridge Engineer

Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Bridge Engineer in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review design calculations

Research design alternatives, code requirements and present findings

Prepare and review reports, contract drawings, cost estimates and specifications

Communicate regularly with the Project Manager as to expected results, workload, and progress

Advocate for, lead, and mentor entry level engineers

Communicate and attend meetings with clients, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders

Engage in business development activities including information gathering, preliminary design and proposal writing

Develop accurate engineering designs and plans with quality presentation, while meeting project budgets, schedules, and company standards

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc

Experience with engineering civil design packages including AutoCAD Civil3D

Familiarity with bridge design principles

Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members
