As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for direction and control of specific projects from estimating, buyout and sub-contracts, to scheduling and personnel management to ensure construction meets all parameters of Plans, Specifications, Safety, Schedules, and Quality.
Responsibilities:
Simultaneous management of commercial construction projects in the $1M to $30M range.
Guide field personnel and manage project schedule, quality, and budget for assigned projects
Quickly acquire knowledge of Plans and Specification to ensure compliance and work coverage by Subcontractor forces
Ensure compliance with all government safety regulations and high quality standards are met
Submit routine progress reports to Principals
Conduct, direct, and control field meetings with trades partners
Motivate and direct trades and field staff
Negotiate change requests with architects, sub-contractors, and clients
Procure subcontracts and material pricing in a fair manner in the best interest of the project
Be able to balance multiple projects depending on complexity and size
Responsible for jobsite safety.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in a lead project management role at a general contractor
Proven track record of managing ground up construction and tenant improvements for multifamily, light industrial, and/or office buildings
Must be willing to work onsite in Pasadena office
Team leadership skills, excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to wear many hats
