Manufacturing Manager

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that production processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes, increase productivity, and reduce waste.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and optimize workflow.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, training, and development within the manufacturing team.

Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the heavy manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
