Job Title: Java Full Stack Lead (Angular)

Job Location: Pittsburg, PA/Dallas, TX

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead with proficiency in the latest version of Angular to spearhead our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality web applications. You should be passionate about building scalable code, leading development teams, and delivering innovative solutions.

The Role

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of complex web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code.

Guide the team through the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Maintain and enhance existing Java applications, ensuring robustness, performance, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various components and data sources into cohesive and seamless applications.

Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software engineering.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks, particularly those related to Java and Angular ecosystems.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Liaise with stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

You are:

Over 12 years of proven experience as a Java developer with leadership responsibilities in a software development team.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong emphasis on Java backend technologies.

Proven experience with Angular (latest versions 14+), and proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Strong experience with Spring Framework, including Spring MVC and Spring Boot.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Experience with RESTful API design and development.

Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Experience with build and version control tools like Maven, Gradle, Git, etc.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading a Scrum team.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Prior experience in a lead role managing a team of developers.
