Job Description:

The Medical Administrative Assistant is a versatile role, requiring flexibility to work across various office locations daily. Responsibilities include scheduling office visits and ancillary tests, triaging calls, pre-certifying procedures and tests, handling a high volume of telephone calls, ensuring patient confidentiality, collaborating with clinical and administrative staff, and traveling between multiple sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling office visits and ancillary tests

Triaging calls and providing exceptional customer service

Pre-certifying procedures and tests

Handling a high volume of telephone calls

Ensuring patient confidentiality and accuracy in records

Collaborating with clinical and administrative staff

Traveling between multiple sites as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum two years of experience in a medical/surgical office

Proficiency in Epic and other computer skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between office locations

Additional Details:

This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement, with potential for overtime and conversion after 720 hours. Candidates should expect varied hours and start times, with flexibility required.
