Who will you be working with:

Essential Functions (include but not limited to): Under the direction and leadership of the Program Manager, the Operations Managers have the overall responsibility to ensure that all station operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and client standards. The OMs direct, plan, organize, and coordinate with collaboration from Supervisors, the day-to-day operations of the Aviation Security Officer force.

Responsibilities:

Reporting actual or potential breach of Airport Security

Responsible for operational staffing, and post coverage ensuring our operation runs smoothly with proper planning and communication

Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned locations and facilities and conduct daily briefings with direction from the Account Manager

Under the direction of the Account Manager, document station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies

Review operational paperwork and staff time and attendance within the established guidelines and deadlines ensuring payroll processing is accurate

Ensure cost effective measures across the station

Under the direction of the Account Manager, ensure operational compliance relating to all reporting procedures; follow procedural changes and ensure they are communicated effectively and efficiently to staff

Under the direction of the Account Manager administer training (initial and recurrent) of station personnel, and providing corrective action where needed

Maintain all communication protocols in a professional and efficient manner

Alarm and emergency response including communicating with necessary airport community stakeholders and first responders to ensure timely response to all reported incidents Patrolling airside and landside areas of the airport; including parking lots, aviation department offices, construction sites, and providing traffic management in designated areas.

Providing crowd control and interacting with traveling public in a professional and courteous manner

Prepare written reports and records of all events, i.e., discrepancies, security incidents or breaches.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.

Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures.

Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results.

Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal as distributed by local airport authority and US Customs and Border Patrol

Must be able to pass any initial and recurrent training classes as administered by the company, and/or local airport authority.

Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook

A.C.E certification or willing to obtain one.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License and retain throughout course of employment.

Must have a valid security guard license issued by the state.

Must obtain and maintain through course of employment a valid SIDA badge with driving privileges.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook

Minimum (3) years security experience

Minimum (3) years in supervisory/ managerial experience in scheduling

Minimum (3) years’ experience working in the aviation industry.

Mathematical Skills: Moderate level mathematical reasoning. The ability to analyze data and review documentation for errors in entry or tabulation.

Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, and involves exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices; able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels; capable of being on one’s feet for extended periods of time and lifting 50 pounds unassisted.

With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and cognitive requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines possibly on uneven terrain.
