As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Intellectual Property Paralegal.

Position Overview:

As the newest addition to our expanding office, the Intellectual Property Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting our managing partner, partner, senior associate, and associate. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities in patent litigation and prosecution within a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and submissions to government agencies, including the U.S. International Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Commerce, USPTO, and U.S. District Courts.

- Provide case management for patent litigation in federal district courts, appeals before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and actions before the U.S. International Trade Commission, USPTO, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

- Manage paper and electronic discovery process for all phases of discovery and trial preparation.

- Prepare for and attend depositions and trials, including coordinating logistics and preparing witness files and exhibits.

- Draft various motions and pleadings.

- Bluebook/Cite check, proofread, and assemble exhibits related to filing.

- Coordinate service of process and courtesy copies.

Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years of IP Litigation experience, including managing Section 337 matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

- At least 5 years of experience in patent and trademark litigation in federal district court.

- Proficiency in electronic filings using Pacer CM/ECF and USPTO systems.

- 2 years of experience with USPTO inter partes review (IPRs) proceedings.

- 2 years of experience with USPTO patent and trademark prosecution.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and legal professionals.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

- Work is 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, aligning with our flexible policy.

- Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 annually.

- Discretionary bonus at the end of the year.

- Billing requirement of 90 - 100 hours per month.

- Software used includes NetDocs, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, iTimekeep, Aderant, and CompuLaw.

- Benefits package includes paid parking or commuter fee reimbursement up to $170 monthly, 401K matching up to 4%, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
