12+ month contract, ideally contract to hire.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Must be able to get to the office in Hartford, CT regularly (prefer 2-3 times a week). Client is flexible but candidates willing to get onsite more will get preference.

This role involves a mixture of technologies which include but are not limited to: Oracle EPM, Peoplesoft Financials, SAP, MSD365, Dynamics Nav.

Tasks will include but are not limited taking solutions and turning them into technical specs,

coordination with the offshore team, code reviews.

Key skills: ERP Financial apps, a combination of Oracle EPM, D365, SAP, Peoplesoft Financialso and other financial applications, C#, cloud modernization, AWS or Azure.

We are seeking a Financial Application Technical Lead with experience working with financial systems including MSD365 Finance and Operations, Oracle EPM, PeopleSoft Financials, and/or MS Dynamics NAV. The Financial Application Technical Lead will support a suite of Financial Applications, managing assets and leading development efforts. You will partner across the organization with Business and IT stakeholders/teams to gain alignment and drive changes/enhancements meeting the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Work with Solution Architects to transform Architectural designs into technical documentation for the development team

Ensure the solution is scalable and compliant while meeting the needs of the business

Design and build high quality, secure and scalable code

Work with Development team throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.

Perform Code reviews to ensure the highest quality.

Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution architects to ensue adherence to Architecture roadmaps and associated projects gates.

Work with Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure timely release to production

Skills/Experience

10+ years of experience as a Sr. Developer/Lead with an interest in architecture or previous experience with architecture

5+ years of experience designing and building solutions with financial applications including: MSD365 Finance and Operations, Oracle EPM, PeopleSoft Financials, and/or MS Dynamics NAV

Experience leading and driving onshore and offshore teams

Experience working throughout full lifecycle from technical design, build, test, and deployment.

Experience with SQL, .Net and/or Java and programming experience

Experience working with MS Azure and Cloud based solutions

Experience following Architectural Frameworks including Togaf, Zachman, etc.

Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a plus

Proven ability to bring disparate IT teams together for positive outcomes
