Senior Software Engineer

he Senior Software Engineer plays a crucial role in contributing to software design, development, and overall product lifecycles. Collaborating within a diverse team, the Senior Software Engineer engages in creating, supporting, and deploying production applications, with an onsite presence three days a week.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Generate high-quality code through the application of the latest frameworks, code peer review, and the development of automated unit test scripts.

Execute product design, system analysis, and programming activities.

Collaborate with and provide mentorship to fellow developers.

Participate in product design meetings, daily standups, and backlog grooming sessions.

Document designs in the product wiki.

Develop and document unit tests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

5+ years of programming experience, with expertise in one or more of the following: C# .NET framework, Python, and Angular or React

AWS

Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and Test Driven Development

Experience in n-tier architectures and some exposure to service-oriented architectures (SOA).

SQL Server

Knowledge of GIT or TFS

Experience mentoring junior team members
