Family Law Paralegal

Marcum Search is working with a boutique, family law firm in the San Fernando Valley who has an immediate need for a Family Law Paralegal. The Family Law Paralegal will need to be onsite Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities for Family Law Paralegal:

Drafts legal documents, formal discovery requests and responses, deposition notices, interrogatories, I&E’s, SADs, motions and summaries of depositions.

Assists with locating and contacting witnesses, arranges for the interview and

of witnesses, drafts witness declarations in proceedings and pretrial

and assists with the preparation of witness testimony.

Compiles and organizes trial notebooks, exhibits and files and coordinate the

of witnesses, assists attorneys with witness issues, and exhibits.

Performs legal research including statutory and case law and drafts forms,

memoranda, proposed rules, orders and other documents.

Qualifications for Family Law Paralegal:

3+ years of family law experience.

Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
