Commercial Real Estate Owner/Manager- Midtown NYC

Accounts Payable-- $75k-$80k

A prominent commercial real estate owner/operator in Midtown NYC is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. This organization boasts ownership of approximately 20 million sq. ft. of class-A commercial buildings across the country. If you have exposure to Class A commercial office properties using MRI/AVID software, this opportunity could be an ideal match.

Responsibilities:

Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve invoices or payment discrepancies.

Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.

Perform year end distribution of 1099 Forms.

Review and ensure coding of invoices.

Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment.

Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.

Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.

Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or signatures.

Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

5+ years accounts payable experience in commercial real estate.

Proficiency with MRI and AVID exchange real estate accounting software.

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks.

Be able to multi-task and be a team player.

Salary: $75k-$80k plus benefits
