We are seeking a dynamic Senior Process Engineer with a specialization in Aromatics and Polymers to lead projects for one of our clients. The primary focus will be on Aromatics, with a strong emphasis on leveraging expertise in this area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading projects within a large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company, particularly in the field of Refining.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of process engineers in collaboration with process licensors to advance licensor basic engineering packages to FEED (Front End Engineering Design) quality.

Execute licensor packages for refinery naphtha, distillate, and residue hydrotreating technologies.

Oversee the execution of licensor packages for downstream steam cracker derivatives units, including polyethylene, polypropylene, and aromatics units.

Coordinate effectively with high-value engineering centers to ensure project success.

Lead a team of process engineers in various tasks, including process simulation, PFD and P&ID development, hydraulics calculations, process vessel sizing, overpressure analysis, relief calculations, and flare header sizing.

Develop process design basis documents and related narratives.

Manage workgroup schedules, budgets, and overall progress to meet project milestones effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in process engineering, with an average experience ranging from 10 to 30 years.

Proven experience in leading projects for large EPC companies, specifically in Refining.

Proficiency in developing heat and material balances using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS.

Strong skills in P&ID development and fluid hydraulic calculations for line sizing.

Experience with process data formulation for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment.

Excellent leadership capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
