Head of Business Development

Description of Responsibilities:

Implement the company's strategic development plan and Seek cooperation opportunities for domestic and foreign biopharmaceutical enterprises, Reach external authorization or cooperative development;

Discover the trend of new drug R&D and the pharmaceutical market development, Make strategic planning for the development of the company's product pipeline and new technologies

Conduct research and evaluation of relevant projects, including comprehensive analysis of market, technology, finance and patents

Responsible for the external authorization and comprehensively manage the whole process of the transaction, including market analysis, project evaluation, due diligence, negotiation of financial and legal terms, sign-off, technology transfer, etc.;

Continuously strengthen the industry network, maintain existing collaborations, and explore attractive opportunities for future cooperation

Established networks of contacts in biotech/pharmaceutical companies, the venture capital community, and/or major academic institutions.

Minimum Education/Skills Required:

Ph.D. with a professional background in life sciences, medicine etc., with more than 8 years of industry experience (such as research experience, industrial R&D experience, pipeline strategy experience, or strategic consulting experience);

Solid understanding of drug discovery, development, and commercialization processes ability to work effectively with R&D stakeholders;

Global perspective with fluent proficiency in both English and Chinese, effectively communicating scientific and business topics to audiences/partners;

Agile and adaptable to changing business environment;

Overseas study or work experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies or well-known R&D institutions;

Base on Boston MA or Beijing China
