System Administrator

A financial firm is currently looking for a System Administrator to join their team in Jupiter, FL.

Compensation: $120-140k base

Hybrid Schedule: Monday, Wed, Friday in-office with flexibility

Keys for this Role:

VMWare and Windows required

Financial services experience preferred

Looking for someone with 4-11 years of experience

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations

Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications/equipment

Provides technical support and guidance to users

Responsible for the analysis of hardware and software in a distributed networking environment utilizing network management and monitoring software and systems

Provide 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary to support all user desktop environments including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VMs

Qualifications:

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another related field

5+ years managing a vSphere vCenter environment

5+ years set up and troubleshooting of Windows Server systems and associated applications

3+ years' experience managing Business Continuity\Disaster Recovery\Backup solutions

Experience with datacenter hardware and cabling

Advanced TCP/IP knowledge - routing/subnetting/dns/dhcp and troubleshooting network issues

Windows Desktop Support and applications deployment\troubleshooting

Preferred

Management of shared storage systems (iSCSI/Fiber Channel)

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, specifically VMWare Horizon

Finance Industry experience
