Job Title: Laser Machine Operator

Location: Allen, TX

Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 (with overtime and benefits)

Industry: Steel Fabrication

The Client:

Our client specializes in sheet metal fabrication in the North of Dallas and is looking to add a Laser Machine Operator to their already established team due to their growth and work prospects since the start of 2024.

Responsibilities:

Perform laser department-related duties as assigned by management.

Learn new techniques and processes from experienced operators.

Troubleshoot issues to ensure the machines maintain a high level of utilization.

Learn proficiency with machinery controls to overcome daily obstacles and ensure continuous production flow.

Mentor junior operators to learn new techniques and procedures.

Requirements:

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Computer proficiency for time and data entry.

High school diploma or GED required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience operating laser cutting machines.

Experience with Trumpf and Bystronic lasers is a plus.

Forklift operator certified.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Bilingual candidates in Spanish are preferred.
