Director of Procurement - Data Center

I am partnered with a leading data center owner and developer who are hiring for a Director of Procurement.

You will be responsible for procuring the MEP/construction equipment needed to build, maintain and run data centers on a day to day basis, therefore experience with data center procurement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain comprehensive records of ordered goods and associated delivery schedules.

Verify and confirm delivery dates in coordination with vendors, actively monitoring and mitigating any potential delays.

Ensure and track on-site or project goods receipt by the local team, confirming alignment with the original purchase order in terms of delivery date, quantity, specifications, and condition of goods.

Assist in the verification of a three-way match (PO versus invoice versus goods receipt) and take appropriate actions.

Perform administrative duties related to responsibilities, including correspondence, filing, meeting minutes, report preparation, documentation, electronic record updates, material order tracking, and vendor administration.

Interface with vendors, customers, executives, Facilities Management and Construction Services teams, leadership, and internal finance teams to address and resolve inquiries or issues.

Maintain comprehensive audit trails for material orders and goods received acknowledgments.
