Position Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Greer, SC

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to specify and quote automation solutions that exceed customer expectations.

- Specify automation design approaches and components for new assembly requirements.

- Conduct machine run-offs to verify quality, function, and performance.

- Support program managers in project planning and execution.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support technical activities within the facility.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or experience and education combined

- Minimum 5 years of experience in design or mold processing for plastics injection molded parts.

- Extensive knowledge of automation design and construction techniques.

- Proficiency in 3D CAD and program management tools.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Lean experience preferred.

- Proficiency in ERP and PDM systems, MS Office.
