Full Time, 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Salary: Depending on experience, $40,000 - $50,000/yr.

SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Representative leads the sales efforts to sustain business performance by adding and retaining new customers to achieve set revenue goals. The Inside Sales Representative will introduce our products and be able to educate customers, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. This position requires a self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable individual to create and maintain on-going relationships. A sense of confidence and a positive, friendly attitude are important. The Inside Sales Representative candidate must have the vision, drive, and interpersonal skills to succeed and must work well in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Pro-active sales of all Monitor products

Maximize sales revenue and Gross Margin for all accounts

General customer service correspondence by phone, fax, mail, or e-mail

Enter, proof and release all orders and credit memos

Check shortages of components and assemblies of each order and print unscheduled orders

Prepare all production requirements per order for parts needed

Print pick tickets and send orders to warehouse

Maintain communication for timely shipments; internal and external customers

Telephone coverage including expediting and quoting and technical support

Filing all pertinent documents for Monitor Division

Maintain customer and mailing list

Update pricing as needed

Communicate with manufacturers rep on new leads

Process phone, fax, & e-mail orders as received

Check on stock shortages for customer orders

Verify owner’s manual changes, etc…

Issue return good authorizations

Issue credit memos – customer debit follow up

Assist all manufacturers agents as directed

Assist Monitor Management with price increases/market trends

Input in design and application of new products

Redesign of present products as required

Assist in maintaining file of display locations

Coordinate with manufacturers reps for distribution and use

Work trade shows as needed

Miscellaneous duties

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. One to three years experience in customer service and/or residential water system products is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is also preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw in interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Competence, awareness, and training for probationary employees will be assessed by the “Training & Competency Checklist,” the evaluation conducted at 90 days, as well as other training as needed. Competence, awareness, and training for regular employees will be assessed when annual evaluations are conducted, along with other measurements in accordance with the area the employee is assigned to.
