Registered Nurse - Health and Dental Day 1

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

We do not do any block or self-scheduling at any LCMC campus. Willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

2 Years ICU/Neuro Experience Required

Float: float all 3 ICU’s as there’s no specific unit assignment (CCU/SCU/NCU)

Unit Info: Neuro/Stroke patients, Vascular surgeries, Multi-level back surgeries, & Gen ICU

Required Skills: Interpretation & Management of Dysrhythmias, Contin. IV Sedation, ICP Monitoring, Vent Exp, CRRT Management, Spinal Drains, & Bolts/ICP Monitoring

Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.

Maximum days off: 5 days
