HR Assistant

Job Description

Salary: $24/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Temporary-to-Permanent HR Assistant to join our team at our corporate office in Blacklick. The ideal candidate will provide backup and assistance to our HR Generalist and Recruiter, while also managing specific tasks independently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

Assisting with payroll backup procedures, including data entry, processing timesheets, and resolving payroll discrepancies

Coordinating and scheduling phone screens for candidates, communicating with candidates to ensure a smooth interview process

Managing email communications with candidates and internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing updates as needed

Setting up phone screens, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and recorded accurately

Putting information in our systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Assisting with prevailing wage reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines

Assisting with various HR tasks as assigned, such as updating employee records, preparing new hire paperwork, and conducting orientation sessions.

Schedule & Pay:

Up to $24/hr

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Must have Experience in Paycom:

Must have Prevailing wage reporting experience

Proficiency in Paycom software for payroll and HR management is highly preferred

Previous experience using Paycom for payroll processing and HR administration is a plus

Ability to navigate Paycom's interface efficiently and troubleshoot basic issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

2-3 years of experience in HR or related field.

Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
