Job Description
Salary: $15.00/hr
A Certified Nursing Assistant is trained by a reputable CNA training school that prepares their students for state board testing.
Qualifications:
Must maintain current CNA license without restrictions.
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of individuals with disabilities and mental retardation.
Ability to carry out directions listed in the client care plan.
Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
Prior home health experience preferred
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Excellent personal hygiene.
Computer literate
Responsibilities:
Understands and adheres to established ACSA, Inc. policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate well with assigned client's.
Reports changes in the client's condition and needs to the appropriate supervisor
Providing physical support for clients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the restroom, walking, standing, or exercising.
Assists with other Activities of Daily Living (ADL) by serving meals and feeding patients as needed, and helping patients ambulate; turning, positioning, and transferring patients.
Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes
Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.
