At Miraclon, Product Application Specialists play a vital role in driving innovation and helping our customers realize the value of our technologies. This position falls within the Global Product Support function and reports to the Director of Global Product Support. The primary focus of this position is to provide field application support of Miraclon’s products to help customers enhance the platemaking process, improve print quality, and increase production efficiency.

Your Role:

Collaborate with R&D, sales, service, and marketing to capture new customer application insights to guide the development of new products and services.

Develop relationships with outside vendors, industry partners, and external teams to identify, collect, and confirm business opportunities and synthetize technical requirements for future product development.

Additional responsibilities include product application support for customer field escalations, creation of technical procedure documentation, marcomm support, and technical training for internal/external audiences.

Evaluate and test new prototype technology across all Miraclon technology platforms: software, flexographic plates, imagers, and plate processing equipment.

Provide technical leadership in flexographic printing applications through monitoring both competitor and industry advancements.

Support sourcing, manufacturing, and operations teams during scale-up and commercial manufacturing of new and existing products.

Generation of digital product training tools to support global customer base and regional service teams.

Design, improve, and document application engineering processes with a focus on continuous improvement and best practices.

Your Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Graphic Communications, or related field.

5+ years experience in the flexographic printing industry or graphic design.

Expertise in the flexographic printing process with proficiency in prepress, imaging systems, photopolymer plate processing, and print application.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% both domestically and international.

Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Competency in Microsoft Office and basic statistical analysis.
