Packing Associate

Our client is currently hiring packers. Due to peak season, we are currently searching for overnight candidates that are available for a swing shift to fill their open positions. As a packer you will work in a warehouse environment, preparing finished products for packaging and shipment. Typically, you will be assigned to a specific area, retrieve the items needed from the inventory, check that they are in good condition, wrap them securely, and pack them for shipping.

$17/hr

3rd shift - 7 pm-7 am (rotating shifts)

Located in South Chicago Heights

Your New Role:

As a packer, you will pack and inspect parts according to the requirements per the product specification sheet. Packers apply labels or other identification to cartons/products during stages of manufacture and assembly. You will also stack, assemble, and disassemble completed cartons onto pallets in the configuration per the product spec sheet when performing repack.

What You Need:

1-year experience as a Packer

Ability to follow company safety standards/protocols

Proficient in basic reading, writing, and mathematics

Able to stand for 12 hours at a time
