Composite Production Worker

Job Description

This position will work with composite materials to make quality parts. The job will include the cutting and assembly of fabrics, the mixing of chemicals in exact quantities, and the trimming of parts with cutters and grinders. Applicants must be able to use small hand and power tools, do math, read and write English, follow complex instructions, lift up to 80 pounds, and be productive in difficult work environments.

Responsibilities

Production responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inspection and kitting of raw materials, the fabric lay-up of window wells, the operation of composite molds, the safe mixing and handling of raw chemicals, the finishing of raw fiberglass, and the fulfillment of orders. These base responsibilities must also be supplemented by ongoing maintenance and improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Successful applicants must be detailed oriented, have a strong work ethic, be quality-driven, and enjoy being part of a team. Minimum 1 year of composites experience required.

Additional Information

There are positions on day shift (5:00 am -3:00 pm) and afternoon shift (2:00 pm - 12:00 am). Both shifts work Monday to Thursday (4 days).
